Born from a real problem
DigiVet was born from watching South African vets struggle with outdated, expensive practice management software. The existing tools were built overseas, priced in dollars, and designed for practices with fast fibre internet — not for vets doing farm calls in the Karoo or running a busy small-animal clinic in Pretoria.
Every day, vets were losing time wrestling with clunky interfaces, waiting for pages to load on slow connections, and paying exchange-rate premiums for software that didn't understand how South African practices actually work. VAT calculations were wrong. Communication assumed email, not WhatsApp. Pricing was in a currency their clients don't use.
We knew there had to be a better way. So we built one.
